Captain Malcolm Reynolds
12 September 2007 @ 09:33 am
Captain Malcolm Reynolds was nervous. And not just normal nervous but extremely nervous. Not like he had never bedded a whore before, just that a companion was completely different and  totally out of his league. Or so he thought. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea, perhaps Simon had been right when he had told him he could be spending his money on much more important things. But it wasn't like he needed the money and hell he had worked hard enough for it. Was his to do as he pleased and he would be damned if he was going to let the doctor tell him what he should and shouldn't do with it.

He stood outside in the rain across the street from the building he knew he had to enter at one time or another. Thankfully he had been wise enough to bring his browncoat with him to shelter himself from the weather and not catch some damn cold which would leave him with a runny nose and having to be forced to eat Wash's famous chicken broth soup.

"You can do this Mal. Your a man for gorram sakes, sides it's not like this isn't what you've been wanting these last couple of months." Great now he was standing all by himself, out in the pouring rain talking to himself like some mad man. He was just glad there was nobody around to see him acting so strangely.

He could do this. He would walk inside that building and have the best time of his life. Only problem with that plan was the walking part. Grateful to know that none of his fellow crew members could see him like this as he took in a deep breath, told himself to just relax and enjoy as he starting walking across the street.

Surprised that he had actually made it this far, Mal opened the door and stepped inside just in time to collide with something large. Feeling like he had just been hit by a heavy rock, Malcolm regained his footing and looked upwards to find himself staring at an extremely tall, masculine man. He didn't look all too friendly and Mal was just praying he hadn't just started a fight with this some what intimidating man standing before him.

"Mighty sorry about that Sir, guess I best be looking where I'm walking next time. Pardon for the intrusion." Malcolm apologized with a friendly smile and hoped he wouldn't be heading back to Serenity in a body bag.
